About Nicholas
I have been tutoring math for over 8 years with a high rate of satisfaction. Lessons are structured but not rigid, as I believe that collaboration and curiosity are what lead to real learning! As a pure mathematics graduate, I understand what it takes to get a grip on the abstract and understand these concepts to excel in math.

My lessons are less like lectures and more like investigations. I get deep into the nitty-gritty of why things are true and how they work, as opposed to simple rote memorization. Lessons usually begin with an overarching topic and delve into the concepts, accompanied with practice problems for us to work through together. I am able to teach any age any grade up to 2nd year university. Topics include algebra (including linear algebra), calculus and vectors, number theory, analysis, group and ring theory, probability, and more!
