About Rogelin
I have tutored for 4 years. Some results over the years include bringing up a student's average by 3 letter grades, as well as helping a high school senior hit his goal of a perfect math SAT score. Students have most often praised my ability to take complex things and simplify them without reducing it to something too simplistic.

My main approach to teaching math is to focus on visualizations to help bridge the gap between abstractions and applications. In my years of experience as a tutor, students often mess up the most in trying to focus on steps and methods without much context, when they need to fortify their intuition and understanding.
I have tutored all sorts, but I do best with late high school to early college. Any and all math is welcome within that range, including AP classes and formal logic.
