About SUMEDHA
I am currently pursuing Master of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland, Australia, and have completed my Bachelor’s from BITS Pilani, Pilani campus. Teaching is something I am passionate about and I have volunteered as a teacher and mentor in several organizations apart from being a Teacher’s Assistant in two courses during my undergrad. I am interested in teaching Mathematics and Science to students of all classes and boards. Looking forward to connecting with you all :)

In my opinion, the key to a successful class is good communication. Hence, I like starting my class by talking to students to help me gauge their interests and instill a feeling of self-confidence and positivity in them. While teaching, I believe in following a discussion-based approach by asking questions pertaining to the topic to be taught to analyze their strengths and shortcomings. In my perspective, teaching methodology should include real-life examples as it helps dwell students' interest in the subject. Moreover, I organize practice sessions and try to set up milestones as per the students' learning pace so that they can observe their growth.
