About Hazel
I’m a PVG checked (provided on request) student studying Chemistry and Professional Education at university. I’ve had lots of experience with children both with volunteering in clubs, in school and in early placements. Im comfortable with the primary to secondary school transition process, have a broad knowledge of CfE and the National Qualification System and I’m confident in teaching all levels of Chemistry (primary school to Higher) and lower level General Science, Maths and English (Primary school to S3).

I like to keep learning comfortable and relaxed by creating an environment where children are encouraged to ask questions and use wrong answers as a way to learn! I try and do this by approaching each talk and topic with question based and active learning to engage minds on a broader level than some school environments.
