• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I tutor programming languages such as Python, Java, C, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and C++. My interest in the field dates back to my early college days. I am fascinated by how coding can solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. Competitive programming further fueled my passion because it gave me a challenge on how to think critically and work towards solutions.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to teach comes from my desire to share knowledge and help others succeed. I believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives. Seeing my students grasp complex concepts and apply them in real-world scenarios gives me immense satisfaction. Teaching them helps me make an impact positively to their understanding.

• How does your work help society?

  Teaching programming equips the students with very valuable skills required by the highly technological world of today. This means opening up so many opportunities for jobs and making individuals innovative and part of change in the world of technology. My work offers a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real practice and therefore helps to prepare students for the challenges of the real world..

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  One of my role models is my college professor, who inspired me with his dedication and passion for teaching. He had a unique way of making complex topics understandable and always encouraged us to think beyond the textbook. His approach to teaching has greatly influenced my own methods, and I strive to emulate his enthusiasm and commitment.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside the classroom, I am fond of traveling , movies and cricketing and programming contests. These keep me refreshed. Reading tech blogs is another love of mine, keeping abreast with the current trends in the industry. I also play a lot of chess-it helps me think strategically.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One memorable experience was when a student of mine who had no prior coding background initially struggled with programming concepts. Through consistent effort and personalized guidance, he overcame his challenges and developed a deep interest in coding. I as a teacher felt immense satisfaction when the student gave the same amount of energy for learning that I delivered for explaining the concepts, and seeing his transformation was incredibly rewarding for me as a teacher.
