About Lena
I am a Python tutor with 8+ years of experience helping students discover the power of programming through real-world examples. My teaching approach for Python is based on clarity, structure, and consistent practice. We start from scratch, focusing first on simple commands and logic. Topics like loops, conditionals, and data types are introduced slowly and carefully.
I make sure every lesson builds on the last, helping students grow steadily without confusion. I explain tricky topics like functions and classes using everyday examples. My teaching includes live coding, exercises, and real-time feedback.
Students always know how they’re progressing and where they can improve. I’m patient, and I welcome all questions, no matter how small. Python becomes easier when students feel supported, and that’s something I always offer.
For learners interested in marine biology or environmental data, I introduce practical coding applications. We might write scripts that process ocean data or analyze trends in climate datasets.
We also look at file handling, error management, and how to debug programs with confidence. Each student leaves with not just better Python skills—but stronger problem-solving abilities, too. I work hard to make sure they succeed, step by step.
