About Parker
As a UNC Charlotte CS graduate, I have seven years of combined professional software development and tutoring experience. I served as a backend engineer for a local tech startup, building scalable microservices, and concurrently tutored students in coding bootcamps. We begin with Python basics—data structures, functions, and libraries (NumPy, Pandas)—then build AI pipelines: data cleaning, feature engineering, supervised learning with scikit-learn, and deep learning with TensorFlow. Next, we master SQL: relational schema design, advanced joins, indexing, and performance tuning using PostgreSQL. We then dive into Java: object-oriented patterns, multithreading, and building microservices with Spring Boot. Finally, we tackle JavaScript: ES6+ syntax, asynchronous programming, and crafting responsive front-end applications with React.js and Node.js. Each lesson is project-focused—building a complete web app, deploying an AI model, and collaborating via Git—so you learn not only syntax but also engineering best practices.
