About Tom
Python has been my daily working language for over a decade of building machine learning and data systems in industry: insurance pricing engines, data pipelines, NLP systems, and modern AI applications. I teach Python with a direction: towards data, machine learning, AI and automating the boring parts of your work. Not abstract exercises, but the Python that industry actually runs on.
Depending on your: pandas and data analysis, building real projects (scrapers, pipelines, dashboards, APIs), working with AI tools and LLM APIs, code quality and habits that separate professionals from course-completers, and preparing for technical interviews.
Typical students: analysts automating their workflow, career-changers building towards data and AI roles, and self-taught programmers filling in the gaps.
