About Thiloshnee
I have a bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Industrial Psychology. I found my passion in teaching while volunteering in Community schools across South Africa. I completed my studies in Primary school teaching. This has given me a broad spectrum of subjects that I can teach. English is my native Language. Although I enjoy teaching English, I love teaching Mathematics and Science at foundation level as well.

I am very patient and I believe that in order to learn something, you have to have fun while learning and it has to apply to your real life experiences. I find out what the interests of my students are. Example if my student enjoying cooking and tasting I may ask my students to decide on their favourite meal or dessert and then I ask them to either tell me how they would make this , or they can write out this recipe so that we can correct grammatically errors and improve on their writing skills. This method can also incorporate mathematics by including measurements and quantities. For science, I teach using concrete examples such as science experiments that are relevant to the topic at hand. Students love getting involved in experiements and discovering for themselves the results of an outcome.
