About Simon
I am a trained and experienced teacher and have taught highly gifted students as well as low ability, SEN and EAL students. I have provided 1-to-1 tuition for 4 GCSE students, 2 others who were studying IGCSE and 3 A-level Chemistry students and an international student who is studying for the Cambridge International A-Level.
All those who I have tutored have achieved a higher grade in their final exam than was predicted for them before I began tutoring.

I have a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and a PGCE teaching qualification from the University of East Anglia. I have 5 years experience teaching GCSE Science and A-Level Physics and Chemistry.
I like to keep my tutoring style as simple as possible. First finding out what my students think they know, then finding out how confident they are using a range of types of questions, followed by clear explanations and lots of exam question practice.
