About Nigel
I have been teaching since 2003, up to Year 13, but mainly in the Primary Area and early High School.
My philosophy of teaching is based on the fact that all people have a right to be treated equally regardless of their gender, race and socio-economic group. I accept all people for who they are and strive to create a happy, fun, positive and challenging learning environment where they feel safe and have a sense of belonging. This enables them to reach their full potential.

I believe it is important for people to feel valued, accepted and experience any learning environment as a fun, positive place which they want to come. I aim to be non-judgmental and non-threatening so I can enable them to reach their full potential. I use Digital Technologies to enhance our teaching and learning programme.
I like to tailor my teaching method to the needs of the individual. I like to build a strong foundation with the basics as I believe this helps them to understand more complex topics.
