About Theresa
I teach mathematics because I enjoy using mathematics to solve various problem as well as helping students to achieve their personal goals in mathematics. These goals may include passing exams; progressing to higher maths sets or groups; catching up; exploring more challenging maths and extending their maths knowledge for fun and/or academic success.

My approach is supportive and student-centered.
I aim to facilitate good understanding of mathematical concepts; boost students' skills and confidence in applying mathematics and solving mathematical problems .
My qualifications include a PGCE (Mathematics) from the Institute of Education London, Level 5 Additional Diploma in Teaching Mathematics in the Life long Learning sector and a BSc degree in Physical Sciences (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with computing.
From 2001, I have been teaching Mathematics in a variety of roles including Teacher of Mathematics; Mathematics Support Teacher; Private Maths Tutor and Lecturer in Mathematics.
