About Ivana
Music is a gift - it makes us move, triggers nostalgia, and evokes the full spectrum of our emotions. I aim to inspire students to harness the full benefits of a thorough music education. I have been involved in piano education since the age of 8, and have been in the high school music classroom for over 8 years. I hold a Diploma of Piano Teaching and a Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Teaching. I enjoy working with young people - watching them advance not only in technical music skills, but in confidence as they experience the wonders of Music!

Lessons are designed to cater to specific student needs. This includes children learning piano as a hobby, adults starting from the beginning, or high-schoolers preparing for an assessment item.
As an experienced high school music classroom teacher, I have a thorough knowledge of the Senior ATAR syllabus and the common knowledge gaps students often present with, and can also assist with theory consolidation, composition skills, and academic writing.
Diagnostic activities will be completed in the first (free) lesson/meeting to identify knowledge gaps and tailor lessons to address student goals.
