I've been a tutor at many different levels, at University level, A-Levels, GCSE and Key stage 3, and I love finding new ways that students challenge me and where I can learn from them! Physics and Maths are beautiful subjects where there may often only be one correct answer, but many ways to get there and creativity is often overlooked, so I always try to encourage students to look for the way that makes sense to them.

I believe the best tutors are adaptable and should understand how their students learn. Being able to take the time to tailor specific plans to that learner is what separates a tutor from a teacher with 20 students. A typical session might begin with a recap, discussing past work and learning objectives, and then finish with a fun tie-in to the work covered to cement the content covered. Again, this varies from student to student, and I’m always happy to hear what works for you!
