About Thomas
Having grown up in Toronto, my schooling was completed in the French public school system. After completing a bachelor ofArts with specialization in history from the University of Ottawa, I completed my teacher education program atLaurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario.
When I am not teaching, my hobbies include sports (notably soccer), jogging, taking my dog on walks and hikes and cooking all sorts of foods!

With 7 years experience teaching all subjects across the curriculum, I have developped ways of teaching which are transferrable to every day life. I base my lessons on everyday problems and situations and firmly believe in the growth mindset.
Having worked with a range of academic abilities, my goal has always been to build confidence in students. Making mistakes is fine! You will never learn if you don't try!
My qualifications (in compliance with Ontario College of Teachers) include all subjects in elementary school, French as a Second Language, as well as History at the high school level.
