About Ryan
High School Graduate Tutor with 3+ years of experience teaching math, science, and English. I can teach Elementary to High School Students. Tutoring has been one of the most unique and rewarding experiences and that is why I continue to do it. I personally know what it is like to struggle in school, and I believe that’s what makes me a great tutor because of my unique point of view. I’ve helped many students achieve their academic goals and over obstacles they have faced by developing solid relationships with students, so they feel comfortable to ask questions which helped them gain clarity and overall have the ability to retain the materials I was teaching.

When you take lessons from me you will be receiving instruction that is personalized to each individual student creating equal opportunity for each and every student to succeed. Not one lesson the same because I understand everyone learns at a different pace and acknowledge each person has different strengths, deficiencies, and learning styles. The end goal for each student is to enhance their skills and intelligence to cultivate confidence which results in a successful and independent learner. I have worked with special needs students who have developmental, behavior/emotional disabilities. To begin I will inquire what subject/area we will be focusing on, from there I would like to assess the starting skill level and construct a study plan based on the student’s knowledge and learning style which can be adjusted as needed.

Ryan was extremely helpful when it came to tutoring me in math, which is a subject I struggle with but, he made it very easy to understand and had the best tips/tricks that I wouldn’t have ever thought to do. He made learning fun again for me.
Ryan tutored my daughter for about 2 years in math and English. She was finding math difficult during the pandemic, and I tried to help her but the way they teach math has changed since I was in school, thankfully Ryan was able to help her understand it and pass her class with an A!
