I believe that dance is a balance of technical precision and creative expression. My teaching methodology focuses on the "Build-Up" technique: we begin with a comprehensive physical warm-up to ensure safety, followed by technical drills, and ending with choreographic application.
I use a demonstration-and-feedback loop, where I perform a movement, the student replicates it, and I provide immediate, constructive adjustments to alignment and timing. This ensures that students don't just learn the "moves," but understand the "why" behind the movement.
Typical Lesson Structure
My lessons are generally 60 minutes long, which allows for:
15 Minutes: Warm-up and flexibility training.
25 Minutes: Technical syllabus work or specific Level 2 skill building.
20 Minutes: Choreography practice and performance refinement.
Qualifications & Experience
I have held my Level 2 Dance Qualification since 2021. Over the past few years, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a patient teaching style that helps dancers overcome plateaus.
