About Sarah
I have an early years degree and a primary PGCE, which enables me to teach children aged 5 to 11 years old. I have been teaching for 3 years and have also tutored on a 1:1 basis. My speciality is teaching primary maths and English in a clear and engaging way. Over the last few years, I have supported several children who have ASD, dyslexia and other learning difficulties.

My teaching method is to work around the child’s interests, needs and abilities. I like to create a hook for learning wherever possible and provide lots of opportunities for discussion, engaging activities and questions. I regularly assess a child’s understanding and progress and adapt my lessons accordingly.
