About Nondumiso
My name is Nondumiso khoza, who resides in South Africa. I’m 32 years of age, with a beautiful and amazing daughter of 6 years of age. I posses a Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology (at UKZN Howard) (obtained in the year 2014). My second qualification is PGCE(at UNISA) in the Senior and FET phase (majors are English FAL and Life Orientation-obtained in the year 2016).
I am a qualified teacher at a high school (Ntee High School). My years of experience is 8 years and 2 months in the above mentioned teaching subjects.
Before gaining employment at the mentioned institution, I volunteered for 1 full year since the school had no life orientation and language teacher ( my mentor had retired). I was recommended by the staff to be part of the interview process as I displayed strong academic skills, dedication and passion for my career. Being around learners is a blessing for me, because i get to understand different aspects of individuals as we live in a diverse world. Also to empower learners to tolerate one another, despite their differences.
I use different teaching methods to deliver content and involve learners during teaching and learning. Namely; learner-centred, group learning, individual learning, project based learning, discussion method and question-answer method.
I love working with kids, as it gives me an opportunity to learn new things and help them to explore their fullest potentials. Have attended curriculum developmental programs to help me deliver content in an effective manner, as we are living in a changing world.

Language structures and conventions.
Introduction:
Nouns are naming words of a person, animal, place and an object. Example: Bird, table, strawberry, microwave, tree, house, cat, Australia, South Africa, etc.
Nouns can be in a singular or plural form. Singular means one thing and plural means two or more things.
Eg:Singular- grape, mat, kit, bear, bed
Eg: Plural- grapes, mats, kits, bears, beds
There are 3 steps to follow when changing singular nouns into plural nouns.
1. Add “s” at the end of a noun, eg: pen__pens, tree__trees
2. Add “es” at the end of a noun word ending with- ch, sh, ss, s, x, z
Eg: brunch__brunches
Bush__bushes
Business__businesses
Bus__buses
Mix__ Mixes
Buzz__buzzes
3. Dropping “y” at the end of a noun and adding “ies”
Eg: strawberry __strawberries
Puppy__puppies
Lady__ladies
