About Claire
I am a qualified teacher, I have been teaching business, maths and economics since 2006. I have worked in schools, one to one provision and in business. I am a teacher, public speaker and performer. I have experience coaching students and professionals in effective presentations, I am a qualified vocal coach and a great record of success with my students.

I have a policy of individualised learning. If we are revising the whole curriculum I will ensure all is covered in a series of lessons. We will start off with a warm up activity and recap previous learning. We will then look at topic content eg ratios in maths or the marketing mix in business. Learn 'how to solve' various ratio problems, or 'what is' the marketing mix and how is it used by a business? We will then apply learning to exam style questions.
For presenting/vocal coaching we will discuss style and method of presentation, go through some do and do not, then plan a short example presentation together. You will deliver the presentation, then we will discuss positives and possible improvements in a review. You will then deliver the 'new, improved' presentation in the next session. We can then talk about what needs to be done to prepare for longer presentations.
