About Sami

With a PhD in French language and a strong background in education, I am passionate about sharing the richness and precision of the French language with others. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and levels, always with patience, care, and a deep respect for each student's rhythm and goals. I am known for my structured yet flexible teaching style, which combines academic rigor with a friendly, supportive approach. Whether you are learning French for school, professional advancement, or personal growth, I will help you build both competence and confidence in a motivating and respectful environment. What drives me as a tutor is seeing my students succeed — not only in mastering the language but also in gaining the assurance to use it actively and independently.

About the lesson

As a French tutor with a PhD in French language and several years of teaching experience, I offer tailor-made lessons designed to meet each student’s unique needs. I have worked with a wide range of learners, including children, teenagers, adults, international students, expatriates, and professionals seeking to enhance their communication skills in French.

My methodology is communicative, progressive, and student-centered. Each lesson integrates oral expression, listening comprehension, grammar in context, and vocabulary building, using authentic materials adapted to the learner’s goals. A typical session begins with a brief review, followed by a focused activity (dialogue, text analysis, or oral practice), and ends with targeted feedback to consolidate learning.

I also specialize in exam preparation, including DELF, DALF, TCF, and the Canadian immigration-focused TEF Canada and TCF Canada. My exam training includes full mock tests, test-taking strategies, and detailed corrections to help students succeed with confidence.

What sets me apart is a calm and motivating atmosphere, combined with patience, structured guidance, and a genuine passion for helping others grow in their language journey. My lessons are open to all — from absolute beginners to advanced learners, whether for school, career, travel, or immigration.
