About Nick
Currently In the 5th month of my Teaching business, 12 Students privately and 13 Student's taking school tuition.
I am currently at grade 8 Electric Guitar and Grade 6 Music Theory.
BA Hons in Popular Music with Music Technology.
14 years of playing the guitar and just over 12 year's experience gigging and working in studios.
I guarantee you will always turn up to a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for your lesson's, if you're on time we may even flick the kettle on for a cuppa whilst learning.
I aim to always work and your pace no matter how fast or slow you feel it may be BUT I will encourage you to push the levels of your comfort zone as well.
Finally, my golden rule is Practice, Practice, Practice - Persistently!
I know life is hectic and we can't always practice every day but I will encourage you to want to try to do so.
There is no short cut with music but I promise you it really is worth all the hard work!

My name is Nick, full-time guitar tutor and freelance session guitarist.
If you are looking to take on learning the guitar or bass guitar then you have come to the right place.
I pride myself in taking on the teaching method of ALWAYS MAKE IT PERSONAL.
By this I mean your lesson's will always be tailored to you the student.
We will cover everything together such as Technique, Improv, Composition, sight reading and understanding music, Tone, Gear, instrument maintenance, various genre's of music and, of course, all those favourite song's you know and wish to be able to play!
I will take you on a musical journey with your lesson's.
I'll teach you what you WANT to know but also what you NEED to know.
