About Honor
For me, studying and teaching history go hand in hand. History is an active process which is much more than remembering dates and battles. Through tutoring, I am commited to showing students how the study of history develops skills which go further than the history classroom, requiring students to think for themselves, create judgements and problem-solve.
My passion for teaching history comes from the enjoyment I bestow on my tutees, for them to go away and independently investigate the period they are studying, brings me the most joy.

I have five years experience guiding students through GCSE and A-level history courses both in and outside the classroom. Tutees will develop skills in argument building, essay structure, source analysis and writing styles. Throughout my lessons students will familiarise themselves with past papers and build confidence in their ability to write long answers under timed conditions.
Lessons can vary in length between 1 - 2 hours depending on tutees needs. Lessons will need to start from August 2nd 2024 onwards, due to finishing my school term.
