About Sunhwa

안녕하세요 만나서 반가워요
I was born and raised in Seoul, so I have a standard modern Korean accent. Currently living in Melbourne.
I studied Korean as a foreign language for my bachelor's degree. I have a Korean language teaching certificate, and I've taught more than 200 students from all over the world including international high school student who wants to go to study in university in Korea, and private students from many different country for their own goal and achievements through in person/online.

About the lesson

"My style of teaching involves having active conversations. I want to help you speak more and learn communicatively – it's the best way! Let me know what you'd like to talk about in Korean. If you don't know where to start, I can help you. I understand how difficult learning Korean can be, especially because I learned my second language (English) in a challenging way – by memorizing vocabulary and using very boring books. I aim to help my students learn Korean in fun ways and provide shortcuts!"

* For Beginner students : Most of my students start their lessons with me by learning the Korean alphabet (한글), and it doesn't take that long. So, please don't worry and let's get started! :)

*One-on-one tutoring is different from group classes. I am dedicated to the student's goals and reasons for learning Korean, and I design each lesson accordingly. I help students further develop their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses."
