About Oliwia
I am currently a university student looking to share my extended academic knowledge of English literature and creative writing. I have previously helped a student win a regional creative writing competition as well as gained informal tutoring experience helping younger relatives achieve better in their English classes.

My help is student centred and so I'll firstly ask how they feel about their work and take note of any insecurity or confidence in their own ability.
I will analyse previous work of the student in depth against the criteria of their exam board (if applicable; alternatively I'll evaluate overall areas of improvement, for example, within creative writing). After personally assessing strengths and areas of improvement I will tailor the learning process.
This could include: finding helpful resources; guided practice exercises; applying writing models and structures which work for the student; in-depth but manageable explanations; proofreading and feedback of written work; overall moral support, I'm here to help :)
I hope to create a rich but not pressured learning envirnonment that will allow the student to flourish and feel confident in their skill.
