About Shana
Hi! I'm Shana, a university graduate with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Molecular Medicine. I currently work as a Sleep Scientist and Respiratory Technician, where I apply my scientific knowledge in a professional healthcare setting.
I have always enjoyed learning and have a strong interest in helping others understand concepts that may initially seem difficult or overwhelming. I enjoy teaching because I believe every student has the ability to improve when they are given the right support, patience and encouragement.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and working through challenges without feeling pressured. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student.
Whether your child needs help strengthening their foundations, keeping up with schoolwork, preparing for assessments or simply becoming more confident, I am here to support them every step of the way.
My goal is to help students develop not only their academic skills, but also the confidence and independence they need to succeed.

I offer personalised one-on-one Math tutoring for students in Years 2–10. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual level, learning needs and school curriculum. I focus on building strong foundations, improving understanding and developing confidence through clear, step-by-step explanations and engaging activities.
I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Molecular Medicine, giving me a strong academic background in science, mathematics and academic learning. I take the time to prepare lessons and resources based on each student's areas for improvement.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and may include concept teaching, guided practice, homework support, problem-solving activities, revision and preparation for upcoming assessments. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually become more confident and independent learners.
