About Mikhail
I am a qualified mathematics teacher with 13 years of teaching experience and more than 10,000 hours of lessons. I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and educational backgrounds, from school mathematics to advanced exam preparation.
I specialize in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, functions, calculus, and mathematical problem-solving. I prepare students for SAT, ACT, GCSE, IGCSE, IB Mathematics, A-Level, AP Calculus, GRE, university entrance exams, and national school examinations.
As a teacher, I am patient, structured, and attentive to each student’s needs. I believe that mathematics becomes much easier when it is explained clearly and logically. My aim is not only to help students pass an exam, but also to develop confidence, independence, and a genuine understanding of mathematics.

My lessons are structured, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals. I begin by identifying knowledge gaps and creating a personalized learning plan. Instead of simply memorizing formulas, students learn to understand the logic behind mathematical concepts and apply effective problem-solving strategies.
I use clear explanations, visual examples, guided practice, and carefully selected exercises. We gradually move from basic concepts to more challenging problems, while regularly reviewing previous topics and tracking progress. Homework and lesson materials can be adapted to the student’s level and objectives.
My lessons are suitable for school students, university applicants, and adults preparing for SAT, ACT, GCSE, IGCSE, IB Mathematics, A-Level, AP Calculus, GRE, and other mathematics examinations. I also help students improve school grades, strengthen algebra and geometry skills, and prepare for entrance exams.
