Super Tutor

Maryam is one of our best Quran tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Maryam

I am a trained and dedicated Quran teacher who genuinely enjoys helping children, females and beginners learn the Quran. My Quranic education includes Tajweed and Nazra courses, along with additional Quran and Islamic studies courses. I am also about to complete a three-year Quran course, which has further developed my knowledge and understanding of the Quran.
I have had practical experience teaching students in small batches, and this has taught me that every student is different; some learn quickly while others need more time, repetition and encouragement. I believe a teacher should understand that difference rather than expect every student to learn in the same way.
For me, teaching Quran is not just about finishing lessons. It is about helping a student feel comfortable, build confidence and develop a genuine connection with what they are learning. I especially enjoy working with children and beginners because seeing a student go from struggling with the basics to reading with confidence is very rewarding.
I aim to teach Quran reading, Tajweed, pronunciation and Islamic knowledge in a clear and encouraging way, while giving each student the patience and attention they need.
I am always willing to learn and improve as a teacher, because I believe that when we teach the Quran, we should also keep growing ourselves.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each student's age, pace, and individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

What I Teach
Noorani Qaida for complete beginners
Nazra (Quran reading) with proper pronunciation
Tajweed and Makharij
Hifz (Quran memorization)
Islamic studies, Duas and Basic Islamic learning

Who Can Join
Children and young learners
Females of different ages
Boys under 10
Absolute beginners
New Muslims who need guidance from the basics
Students who want to improve their Quran reading/Tajweed

How I Teach
One-to-one attention: Each lesson is focused on the individual student and their specific needs.
Patient and supportive: I give students time to understand, practise and correct their mistakes comfortably.
Visual and interactive: I use slides, pictures, screen sharing and simple activities to keep children interested and involved.
Flexible learning pace: I adjust the pace, repetition and lesson activities according to the student's ability.
For children who struggle with focus: I adapt the lesson structure for students with ADHD or attention difficulties.

Getting Started
I first consider the student's current level and learning needs so I can plan lessons accordingly. Whether a student is starting from Noorani Qaida or already reading the Quran, the lessons are adjusted to their level.

Lesson Details
30-minute one-to-one online lessons
Lessons conducted through Zoom
Flexible scheduling for students in different time zones
Students can join from anywhere in the world

Parents Stay Involved
Parents' feedback, concerns and suggestions are always welcome.
I share a weekly progress update, letting parents know what has been covered, where their child is improving and what needs more practice.
This helps parents stay informed and involved in their child's Quran learning.

I aim to make Quran learning comfortable, engaging and meaningful while helping every student make steady progress.

If you are looking for a teacher who listens to your needs, understands that every learner is different and adapts the lessons accordingly, I would be happy to help.

Abida

Her Tajweed teaching skills are excellent. She explains complex concepts like Ikhfa, Idgham, and Iqlab so well using the paint screen, and she smartly switches to an on-screen game when she notices the student losing interest. These qualities belong only to an experienced teacher. I sincerely recommend her to anyone looking for a qualified and patient Qur'an instructor.
