Gaining strong mathematical skills is a crucial part of Primary Education.
Some children take more time and more practise to gain the necessary skills it takes to be confident mathematicians. In these instances, children may need more examples, more explanation and a teacher with more expertise, and that's OK. This is where I can help!
I have expert training in the Primary Mathematics curriculum and can develop a series of sessions which will enable your child to grow in confidence. By working with you and your child, I will identify areas which need developing. We can then build on these areas by exploring visual representations and using manipulatives. We will simultaneously work on understanding and memorising the basic number facts which underpins mathematical understanding.
