About Dean
I am a qualified primary school teacher currently working in school, with several years of experience teaching across Key Stage 2, including Year 6. I have supported many pupils through the build-up to SATs and understand both the academic demands and the pressures children can feel during this stage.
I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and realise their potential, particularly in Reading and Maths, where anxiety can often hold pupils back. I pride myself on being calm, patient and encouraging, and I work hard to create a supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
As a classroom teacher, I understand how children learn best and how to adapt explanations to suit different learning styles. I aim to make learning clear, structured and achievable, helping pupils feel prepared and confident.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with extensive experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs. I specialise in Reading and Maths SATs preparation, focusing on building confidence, closing gaps, and developing the problem-solving skills pupils need to succeed under exam conditions.
