About Eleanor
Medical mentoring
I was a medical student for 4 years before leaving for other reasons, gaining a first class BSc in Medical Sciences. I received 4 offers to study medicine and used to volunteer at a widening access program, amongst F1s and consultants where we interviewed candidates to help them succeed. My husband (and extended family) are doctors and able to answer any niche queries.
Primary tutoring
Having gained my PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status, I am now offering services as a tutor to help boost children through the year. I understand how devastating maths anxiety can be in particular, and have found that raising these children's confidence can have the biggest impact on their performance, and lifelong feelings towards the subject.
