About Hope
I've been teaching for six years across a range of schools and settings, giving me experience with almost every primary year group. I've also taught at a prep school in Hampstead, and each role has helped shape the way I teach today.
My colleagues often describe me as calm, approachable, and someone who has high expectations while creating a supportive environment where children feel confident to learn and make mistakes.
Outside the classroom, I'm a creative person with a degree in Art and a love of sewing. I'm also endlessly curious and genuinely enjoy learning new things myself—history is a particular favourite! I believe that enthusiasm is contagious, and I love helping children discover the joy of learning while growing in confidence along the way.

Every lesson is carefully planned using research-informed approaches and follows the National Curriculum, but most importantly, it's shaped around your child's needs. I use lots of opportunities to revisit previous learning, helping children remember what they've learnt and build confidence over time.
Most lessons follow an 'I do, we do, you do' structure. I'll model a new skill first, we'll practise it together, and then your child will have the chance to apply it independently with support and encouragement along the way.
The best thing about one-to-one tutoring is that every lesson can focus on what matters most. Before we begin, I'll chat with you and your child to understand their strengths, any areas they find tricky, and what they'd like to achieve. That means every session is purposeful, engaging, and designed to help your child make progress while enjoying learning and growing in confidence.
