About Erin
I have completed the PGDE Primary qualification at a Masters level in June, 2021, currently teaching P2/3, as well as having placement experience across the primary school.
I have also graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2020, having achieved a 2:1 in BSc Psychology, with a focus on social psychology.
During my time at Queens, I have been part of the Homework Clubs intitiatives as a mentor to primary school students in educationally deprived areas in order to promote the pursuit of education. Throughout my undergraduate career I also worked as a counselor at a residential Arizona summer camp, being promoted to Senior Counselor in 2020.

I am qualified to teach from ages 4-11, having experience teaching across all Primary school ages! I can also tutor English and Psychology up to GCSE/Scottish Standard Level.
My teaching philosophy is one of positive relationships- I take time to get to know my students and their needs in order to best serve them and am able get to the root of any academic insecurities they may have. Lessons have a three part structure, with lots of consolidation of knowledge and creative inputs in order to best facilitate learning and achievement.
I wholeheartedly believe in tailoring education for the individual child and love incorporating their interests into the curriculum!
