About William
My name is William. I hold QTS and a PGCE, as well as a Master's degree in Law. I have taught in UK state schools and now teach at a top international school. I have experience in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I also speak advanced Mandarin and basic Spanish. I became a teacher because I love helping children experience that "aha!" moment when a tricky concept finally clicks. I am patient, calm, and skilled at breaking down difficult ideas into simple, manageable steps. Seeing a child's confidence grow is what drives me.

I hold QTS and a PGCE, plus a Master's in Law. I have taught in UK state schools and now teach at a top international school. My lessons are 45–60 minutes online for children aged 5–11. I follow the UK National Curriculum closely but adapt everything to your child's unique pace and learning style. A typical lesson includes: a quick warm-up, modelling the new skill, guided practice together, then independent work with gentle feedback. I also speak advanced Mandarin and basic Spanish, which helps when supporting children learning English as an additional language. Parents can tell me exactly what their child is struggling with, and I will help them get to mastery. My goal is to build confidence so your child actually enjoys learning.

This first lesson offered with William will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
The first lesson is free. This initial session is a 30-minute assessment where I will identify your child's strengths and areas for development, explain how I work, and answer any questions you have. Subsequent lessons are £25 per hour. I offer a discounted rate of £24 per hour if you book a block of 5 lessons upfront, or £23 per hour for a block of 10 lessons. Payment is made directly to me after each lesson or block. There are no platform commissions or hidden fees for you – you only pay Superprof's monthly Student Pass to contact me.
