About Orla
I am a qualified primary school teacher for the past three years with a first class honours degree. I am very passionate about teaching Irish as it has always been a huge love of mine having scored an A in it in the Leaving Certificate. As I am not a native speaker of the language, I have huge empathy and understanding of learners of this language. I have worked as a múinteoir in the Gaeltacht and have worked with many students over the past six years from 8 years of age to 22 years of age.

Trying to learn off paragraphs of Irish and find it difficult to create your own work? I focus on using the language in context and teaching the grammar in a meaningful way. I promote students to understand the basics of the language so they feel confident to construct sentences and converse. My lessons typically last 45 to 60 minutes with a mixture of speaking, writing, listening and reading.
