About Alice
I am a qualified primary teacher with a subject specialism in English. I can tutor English, Maths and French up to GCSE level. I am a keen musician and historian as well. As a primary teacher, I can teach/tutor across the entire primary curriculum as well. I am a quite happy, outgoing person. My experiences range from performing arts to circus to academic degrees so I am well-rounded enough to fit most situations that I come across. French is my second language so I'm well aware of the challenges that come with learning new languages and the anxiety that can accompany that. I am confident in teaching English as an additional language too. I always tailor what we study to fit you, your ability and comfort level wherever I can. Generally, lessons will be dictated by what you wish to revise or learn. With adaptations made specifically for you, the general structure of lessons will be recap, input and task with potential for a small amount of work for you to do in between lessons. I am the partner of Alice who has recently qualified as a teacher and has been working in Ratby Primary School, Leicester since September 2020.
Alice is a qualified primary school teacher, so she has all the knowledge and skills needed to tutor children coming up to their SATs exams.
Alice is my twin sister, so I've seen her put her all into everything she's done through her life. She's always really enjoyed working with children and enjoyed helping people to succeed to the best of their ability.
