About Amy
I am an experienced teacher who has experience teaching from reception to year 6. I enjoy planning and delivering engaging lessons. Whether you are looking for someone to provide learning opportunities for home learning or one-off support for homework or studying support, I am adaptable and willing to support your child on their learning journey.
I have 10 years working within the primary sector and, during this time, have worked as a teacher, special educational needs coordinator and school leader. This wealth of experience has provided me with a unique insight into what engages pupils and have been able to put this into practice when providing 1:1 support for pupils. Through this targeted approach, I am able to understand areas for development and plan these into my sessions so that all pupils can make good progress.
I feel that it is important that pupils find enjoyment in their learning as this is likely to provide a memorable experience. Therefore, I strive to maintain a calm and supportive environment in which to engage learners.
