I would develop a scheme of work that is individual to each student, focusing on key topics that you are not confident with. I will create a bank of skills that will help you depict what the questions are asking and familiarise yourself with mark-schemes to get an idea of how to get the method marks.
Having a one to one tutor not only allows the pace of topics to run smoothly and quickly but allows for undivided attention and support.
I will encourage regular mini topic tests and tests that involve a range of topics. For the GCSE students the GCSE papers will be regular and there will be a focus of how best to utilise time during the exam.
