About Charlotte
I am a qualified secondary Mathematics teacher with QTS. I have been working across a variety of different primary and secondary schools for the last 4 years so I am experienced in getting to know different learners, helping them to unlock their strengths and overcome their challenges through tailored explanations and carefully selected tasks. I take an enthusiastic, kind, and supportive approach with all my learners as I believe confidence is key in maths and in everyday life!

Through my work with a wide range of learners from 5 years old to adulthood, I understand that every student is totally unique. Whether you/your child needs support with primary, KS3, or GCSE maths, exam preparation, or building maths confidence, I always come equipped with a variety of strategies and exercises to adapt my lessons both before and during the session to squeeze as much progress as possible out of our time together.
My lessons typically last one hour. I usually start with a bit of a warm up - usually some recap from the previous lesson, or some prerequisite skills relevant to the lesson ahead. Then, we will work through a range of 5-15 minute activities to build on the lesson’s target topic/skill. We will always finish with a brief consolidation task to review the progress made during the lesson.
