About Rick
I have had lots of experience teaching various abilities across secondary school range. I work with students to reach their full potential by breaking down what they need to learn into manageable chunks and design engaging activities to meet examination criteria. I also have over 7 years experience teaching GCSE science to students with SEN, helping them to achieve very well in the exams.
I enjoy teaching science and working with students to help them achieve their full potential.

I believe all can achieve in Science and have worked with students of all abilities and educational needs to deliver engaging lessons that inform and inspire. Typically, I teach 60min lessons, but am flexible, especially nearer to the exam period. Building trusting relationships is important to me as the trust it encourages improves levels of engagement and opens transparent and honest communication channels.
