About Alexandra

Hello, my name is Alexandra and I am a qualified Solicitor based in London.

I currently practise in the legal sector and have experience working with a wide range of clients, legal issues and litigation matters.

Throughout my academic and professional career, I have developed a strong understanding of legal research, legal writing, case analysis and problem-solving. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in their abilities and achieve their academic and professional goals.

Having completed my own legal studies relatively recently, I understand the challenges that law students face, whether that is mastering complex legal concepts, preparing for exams, writing dissertations or navigating the path towards qualification. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can improve their understanding of the law and reach their full potential.

I am friendly, approachable and patient, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

I look forward to helping you succeed in your studies and supporting you throughout your legal journey.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, goals and level of study. Whether you are an undergraduate law student, LPC student, postgraduate student or aspiring solicitor, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that builds both knowledge and confidence.

I am a qualified Solicitor with an LLB from King's College London and LLM from the University of Westminster and experience in legal practice. Having recently completed my own legal training and qualification journey, I understand the challenges students face and can provide both academic support and practical insights into the legal profession.

My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex legal concepts into clear, understandable principles. I encourage active participation, critical thinking and problem-solving rather than simply memorising information. Lessons can include reviewing legal principles, analysing case law, improving legal writing and research skills, discussing exam techniques, and working through practice questions.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for dissertation support, coursework assistance or intensive exam preparation. At the beginning of our work together, I will assess your current level and identify areas for improvement so that lessons can be tailored to your specific objectives.

This first lesson offered with Alexandra will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

My standard rate is £30 per hour for both online and in-person lessons.

For in-person tuition, an additional £10 travel fee applies to cover travel expenses and journey time.

For students looking for ongoing support, I offer discounted lesson packages:

• 5 lessons – £135 (£27 per lesson)
• 10 lessons – £240 (£24 per lesson)

I also offer the first 30 minutes of the initial session free of charge. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your goals, identify any areas where you would like support, and ensure that my teaching style is the right fit for your needs before making any commitment.

Lessons can be tailored to exam preparation, coursework and dissertation support, legal research and writing, academic skills development, or broader guidance for students pursuing a legal career. Whether you need help with a specific topic or ongoing support throughout your studies, I will create a personalised approach designed to help you achieve your goals.
