About Maria Paula
I have been a private tutor for over 10 years, and I am a Spanish secondary teacher with KS3, GCSE and A level experience.
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Edinburgh and a Master's degree from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. I also have a PGCE with QTS status..
I love teaching and I like to use a range of fun activities, games and exercises to develop all four skills- listening, speaking, reading and writing.

My teaching methodology can easily be adapted to fit each student’s needs. My lessons are fun, interactive and allow the student to constantly check for understanding and test their knowledge. There is plenty of feedback and opportunity to work on and act upon the feedback. I am also happy to leave work for the student to complete in between lessons if this is something they are looking to do. Based on previous knowledge, we can focus on writing, reading, listening or speaking skills or have a more holistic approach.
