About Pablo

My passion for teaching languages is grounded in an equally great passion for learning them. That is why in the last ten years I have not stopped both giving classes and receiving them to study more languages. It's never a bad time to learn! Learning a language is probably the greatest bridge you can build towards a given society and its culture. I am convinced that knowing languages ultimately contributes to making the world smaller, closer and more tolerant. I have given private lessons to people of all ages and needs, in academies for high school students and preparing adults for Cambridge exams, and in schools for high school students, so my experience supporting English learners is extensive and diverse. .

About the lesson

- I adapt the content and approach of the classes to the needs and preferences of the student. - I use both my own material and the one the student has. There is no bad material as long as the student finds it useful. - I like that the classes are relaxed and dynamic, so don't expect me to be a nineteenth-century teacher! - I consider myself a very creative person, so if you think you are one of those for whomlearning English is an impossible task, don't worry, if no method works, we will invent one for you! - I am not the typical snotty teacher who, if one day makes a mistake, is not able to admit it. I am not a great master imparting doctrine from the top of a hill. I was fascinated when a university professor told us in class one day: "I am not here to teach you, but to make sure you learn" - The vehicular languages that I can use to teach are: Spanish, English and Portuguese. - In pre-pandemic times I used to go to the students' homes, but since March 2020 I have started giving classes by video call, and the truth is that I love it, so it is in your hand if you want to see me in two or in three dimensions! I can support you in your studies if you belong to any of these groups: - High school students who need support with the English subject. - Students aged 12 and over who want to prepare for an official Cambridge, Trinity or EOI exam. - Adult students who want conversation classes and improve their oral production and comprehension. - Students from 12 years of age whose mother tongue is not Spanish who wish to learn or improve it.
