About Jen
I have been teaching EFL for three years; in Thailand, USA, France and the UK.
I have taught over a hundred students; in class based lessons, 1-1, and small group work.
My students have gone on to achieve high levels in IELTS, TOEFL and CAE. They have achieved grade C+ in mainstream English GCSE and have achieved L1 in Business English exams.

As a tutor I strive to:

Example feedback from a grammar lesson:
Successful language use: “While I was waiting, he called.” (successful use of the past continuous and past simple)
Error:
“He have been to Paris”. Wrong form of the auxiliary, should be “has”. The student knows the third person form, but made a slip while speaking. Since only the third person is not formed with “have”, the student has over-applied the rule.
