I left my post as Deputy Head of Department in my previous school in order to pursue a different lifestyle as a freelance tutor. I have a 1st Class Undergraduate Degree in French and German, and I have spent time studying in France. I have 7 years experience as a qualified teacher of both German and French where I gained a successful track record of enabling students to achieve across the spectrum of ability. My particular expertise lie in the AQA GCSE syllabus, but I am experienced and successful from absolute beginner, up to A-Level.
The style of my lessons varies greatly according to to the needs and goals of the student, but lessons are always engaging, varied and underpinned by the highest levels of subject knowledge. Depending on what it is you wish to get out of your tutoring, lessons can be catered to your requirements, with a focus on grammar, conversation, or exam-based content.
