About Callum
I am a warm, friendly and patient Science and Psychology teacher and tutor, committed to ensuring you get the best exam results possible. Having gained a 2:1 degree in Biology and Psychology from Newcastle University, I completed my PGCE qualification at Newcastle University, gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have 3 years' practical experience of helping students gain confidence in Science and achieve excellent exam results.
As a qualified teacher, I have a sound knowledge and understanding of how to help you achieve your full potential. I have experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics from Year 7 to GCSE level, and Biology and Psychology to A-level, which I will bring to each of your tutoring sessions. This, along with my commitment to your education, my flexibility and my willingness to travel, ensures that you will gain the best possible tutoring experience.

My teaching style is varied and can be adapted to each client's needs and abilities. Being a teacher, I have a wide range of resources and methods for ensuring you are able to make progress in whichever areas you wish to focus on. I believe in a student-led approach, with my kind and caring nature ensuring students feel comfortable in guiding the direction of the sessions. I am able to provide past-papers as well as generate specific and targeted questions for each student, if required.

Details
As a qualified teacher I charge £30 per hour for GCSE lessons and £35 per hour for A-level lessons. If you are in an area a lot further from my location, I would still love to hear from you but sessions may incur an additional charge to cover transport costs. This will of course be agreed beforehand.
