I am a mum of three! I enjoy swimming and love dragon boat racing. I enjoy a good sci-fi film in my down time. I can walk for hours, enjoy the outdoors and constantly wonder how amazing our planet is. I am a person of faith and humanity. Above all I love maths.

Maths is story telling through numbers and operations. A quick way to get my new students' attention. Eye-brow tweaks with curiosity. We will navigate through different topics, some topics will appear more challenging. My aim is to break that difficulty down to manageable steps. Being thorough, setting our working out is embedded from the start. Good habits are modelled from me, showing students where marks are awarded. My teaching approach will be different depending on my students. Some will be confident with expressing ideas through algebra and notations, where others may appreciate a more visual approach. Whatever your learning style is, my aim is to support clear understanding, make reasonable mathematical argument and have confidence with their solutions.
