About Richard
I am a Head of Department at a leading independent school in Kent. I have 16 years of experience teaching both Economics and Business at A Level with strong results in both subjects. Prior to teaching I worked for 20 years in the City of London. I teach and tutor A Level and cover both the Edexcel and AQA boards for both subjects. I primarily tutor online using MS Teams or Skype but can also do in person tutoring locally. I can focus on a range of student-specific needs including: topic delivery, topic review, critical thinking approaches, lines of analysis, exam technique, essay planning and past paper practice. I can cover syllabus material, exam technique, revision and diagram practice as needed. I like to use a lot of past paper questions to help students cover the breadth of material and explore the application and analysis needed in answers to achieve the highest grades.
