As a fully qualified and experienced UK teacher, I bring a calm, friendly, and professional approach to every lesson. Over the past 15 years, I’ve helped countless primary-aged students build strong foundations in math, grow in confidence, and achieve success at school. About the lesson

As a fully qualified UK-trained teacher with over 15 years of classroom and tutoring experience, my approach is personalised, structured, and engaging. I believe that every child can succeed in maths when lessons are tailored to their unique learning style and delivered in a supportive, confidence-building environment.

My Method
I use a mix of concrete, pictorial, and abstract methods to ensure deep understanding, not just memorisation. Lessons are interactive, encouraging students to explain their thinking, solve problems step-by-step, and celebrate small wins. I regularly assess progress and adapt my teaching to fill gaps and stretch learning.

️ Lesson Structure
A typical lesson lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the age and focus area. Each session includes a short warm-up, main teaching focus, guided practice, and a mini review at the end.

Experience and Qualifications
I hold a UK teaching qualification and have worked extensively with students aged 5–11, including those preparing for KS1/KS2 SATs, British curriculum assessments, and school entrance exams. I also have experience supporting children with mild learning difficulties and those learning English as an additional language.
