About Feng

As a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience across UK primary schools, I provide clear, structured and engaging lessons that help students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I take pride in delivering professional, well-planned tutoring tailored to each learner’s needs. Whether supporting primary subjects, Mandarin, or IELTS preparation, I create a positive, encouraging environment where every student can succeed.

About the lesson

I am a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience teaching across the primary curriculum in UK schools, including Maths, English and Science, as well as providing Mandarin tutoring for both children and adults. I have also taught IELTS (International English Language Testing System) to students preparing to study at universities in English-speaking countries. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of various ages and abilities, helping them strengthen academic skills, prepare for examinations, and develop confidence in their learning. I take a supportive, structured and student-centred approach to tutoring. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s individual needs, using clear explanations, interactive tasks and plenty of guided practice to build understanding. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps and regularly checking progress in a positive and encouraging way. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, goals and preferred pace of learning.
